Emergency Lighting

Building Regulations (which is legislation) states that emergency lighting systems must conform to BS 5266-1 – the code of practice for emergency lighting of premises.

We offer a range of products and services to ensure a swift and safe evacuation from your premises in the event of an emergency.

Emergency Lighting provides the lighting required for use when the supply to normal lighting fails to enable the safe exit from a building. In the event of mains failure, the luminaries provide instant lighting for a minimum of three hours.

The Regulatory Reform Order requires that adequate provision of exit and safety signs be provided and which are to be illuminated by emergency lighting.

We can carry out monthly, 6 monthly and yearly inspections to Emergency lighting systems and provide services to the required British Standards.
